Ford F-250 owners have reported 6 problems related to radiator hose (under the engine and engine cooling category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The lower cooling hose came loose on my Ford 2020 f250 with1650 miles on the vehicle, while traveling on a interstate towing a load of approximately 7000lbs. The engine lost power and we managed to safely exit of the interstate. The max. Speed of the vehicle was 20 mph while trying to exit the interstate safely, it was an intense moment to get off the busy interstate safely. The vehicle was towed to a Ford dealership, and we are awaiting a diagnosis.

Tl- the contact owns a 2008 Ford f250. The contact stated that while driving 65 mph, the vehicle began making noises and stalled periodically. The vehicle was taken to a dealer for diagnosis and the contact was informed there was a cooling system leak and the radiator and hoses would need to be replaced with higher grade hoses and tanks. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified but offered no assistance. The failure mileage was 67,730 and the current mileage was 68,000. Kmj.

I noticed that something was dripping from the front end of my truck and suspected that the radiator was leaking. I took it to the dealership to diagnose the problem. I also gave them several tsbss concerning the radiator leak to make them aware that this is a known problem to Ford. Obviously they called me back and said that the entire cooling system (radiator, hoses and degas bottle) needed replacement, it wasn't under warranty and I would need to pay $1,776. I only have 39k miles on it and I never thought that I would be replacing a radiator this soon. I have always babied this truck and maintained it regularly. I feel that Ford knew about this design flaw and should be held accountable for the the costs incurred by me to repair the problem. Who is to say that this may not occur again down the road? I have read that it is not uncommon for trucks needing several replacement radiators. It's concerning to me that Ford can get away with this kind of design flaw (or scam) without any repercussion from our government.
Saw anti-freeze leaking, took vehicle, which is a 2001 Ford f250 sd, to the dealer. Had pressure test done of cooling system, found was a broken hose clamp, dealer changed all four hose clamps. Vehicle has 22,000 miles.

I just entered a safety complaint regarding brake rotors rusting (( 10328142 ) on my 2003 Ford f250 7. 3 l diesel. This complaint regards rusting out radiator hose brackets. On July 6 th 2007 a radiator hose clamp rusted out , and I rapidly lost cooling, while on interstate 68 in MD traveling at 65 mph towing a travel trailer. I managed to stop the vehicle and trailer safely but had to be towed to a dealer for repairs. This was on a 4 year old truck. ( just recently in conjunction with the rotor problem a wiring clamp rusted out under the body leaving loose dangling wires. At the time I thought it was a single rusting issue. Now that I am experiencing multiple failures I know the problems are more extensive.

I have contacted the dealership where bought the truck new and Ford customer service and have been told this is not their problems because it is not under warranty anymore. The engine in a 6 year old vehicle should not be rusted like this. I have pictures of the damage - in the pictures you can see the Ford part stickers are like new while everything around them is rusted.
