I have a safety concern on my 2023 Ford 250 superduty pickup. The front passenger seatbelt indicator does not engage when a person sits in the seat. the other 4 seats (front driver & 3 back seats) in the vehicle engage as soon as a person sits in the seat showing the seat red in the on the dash until the seatbelt is engaged and then turns green with a check mark on it. when a person sits in the front passenger seat the seat does not light up on the dashboard like there is no one sitting in the seat. once the seatbelt is clicked in, the seat then turns to green with a check mark and then if the seatbelt is unclicked the seat will turn red. I took the vehicle in to be looked at. the Ford dealership put in a new part and it reacted the same way. they then said that they checked and the seat was working as designed and there was no issue. I asked them to confirm that the airbags would still engage. they would not confirm that. I then called Ford's hotline with my concerns, they said based on what they could see, the airbags would still engage. I feel that all the seats should react the same way and if a person is sitting in that front seat and doesn't use the seatbelt, the vehicle doesn't recognize that a person is in the seat. and if so, possibly the airbags do not work.

Took truck in for oil change at local Ford dealer. Service adviser advised me the lug nuts needed replaced at $384. 00. They are saying it was a manufacturer defect which I agree. I have had truck in numerous times for service and even bought a new set of fires from the dealer and was never advised of any problems. Each time I had truck in for service I had the tires rotated. I believe the items should be covered by the manufacturer.

This particular truck has heated front seats. While I was driving today 2/18/2022 at about 2:35pm the passenger heated seat was on and the seat caught on fire. The seat was empty and nothing was on the seat. I looked over and there were flames coming from the seat. A hole about a quarter in size was burned in my seat.

Trucks automatic tailgate opens by itself. I had the recall repair performed, however, the issue continues. The tailgate opens by itself even after the recall repair. Issue #2- passenger seat headrest bracket is broken and rattling loudly. Numerous complaints on the internet.
The driver and passenger seat massage do not work properly, the lumbar and seat portion work intermittently and for a shorter duration than twenty minutes (2017 Ford f250 platinum). The vehicle wiper blade rate of action randomly increases and decreases on it's own. I was told today by the Ford dealership in redding, California that a technical service bulletin had been issued for the seat massage problem, but that Ford would not correct the problem unless I pay $800. 00 for this repair. If Ford is aware that the vehicle seats have this issue and know how to correct it, why am I being charged to correct it and make it right?.
At speeds above 55 miles an hour when I hit a small bump I would experience death wobble. The vehicle and steering wheel with shake violently and would not stop until I slowed below 30 miles per hour. Here is a link to a video of one of the many instances this happened. Ford did not fix this for over two months because they said it was fixed the first time and then the parts were backordered. Https://youtu. Be/8ucegir7t8e the seat will wobble and make a clicking sound.
2018 Ford F-250 was parked with engine off when fire started under the interior cabin. Fire spread through-out the vehicle and completely engulfed the truck within minutes. Complete burn.
Car was park over night in front of my house . 5 am neighbor came out to get newspapers and saw truck was smoking from inside cab n saw flame. Neighbor call fire department, fire department put out fire from inside cab and verify it was the heated seat module that's cause the seat to go up in flame. Have a report from the fire department and fire marshal. Where do I file a complaint for who is liable for my repair. ? cause this is clearly a manufactured defect. What if I was in my car with my kids. ? please help direct me in the path or whom may help me with my situation. Thanks.

There is no way to secure rear facing infant child seat into vehicle. No clips or rings to attach the carrier to. Seatbelt alone is not sufficient. Infant carrier is equipped with clips on both sides to attach to secure rings at base of seat. My Ford focus has clips for three rear facing sears. Why not the truck?.
My 2011 f250 super duty has shook since the first time I had it at highway speeds. At speeds between 60-75mph it shakes to the point where its uncomfortable to drive. The passenger seat shakes, sometimes worse than others. No matter what the dealer does to the wheels it does not change. They have rotated, rebalanced, swapped with another new truck, checked alignment and no change.
