Eight problems related to car stall have been reported for the 1999 Ford F-350. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Takata recall. I was driving down the road and my truck shut off randomly my overdrive light started flashing after this and continued to flash and still shuts off so I replaced my fuel filter, cps sensor and it still shuts off. It's like I'm goin down the road and it stalls. It does it more than once when I'm driving I just shut it off and start it again.
While driving vehicle stalled. Dealer stated the piston malfunctioned.
The vehicle stalled without warning.
The cam position sensor continued to fail, which caused the vehicle to stall.
Vehicle will not start, if vehicle does start, it will keep stalling.
Vehicle will not start. If vehicle does start it will keep stalling. Took vehicle to dealer, and they replaced the iac motor. Problem came back. Currently, they replacing computer chip. Jlg.
Vehicle stalls at any speed/ any time. Taken to dealer numerous times, cannot remedy situation. Also, transmission jerks when shifting gears.
Vehicle will stall intermittently without warning ,almost acting as if it ran out of fuel. It will take about 5-10 minutes before vehicle will restart. When vehicle stalls it will lose all power brakes and power steering. Dealer cannot determine cause.
