Tl- the contact owns a 2001 Ford f350. The contact stated while driving 60 mph the vehicle stalled. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic for diagnosis. The contact was informed that the lining inside the fuel tank had began to disintegrate and caused the failure. The dealer and manufacturer were notified but neither offered assistance. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure and current mileages were 165,000. Dt.

The contact checked the fuel tank and discovered that the liner of the fuel tank was delaminating and clogging the tank. The dealer was notified and recommended the contact obtain a fiberglass tank. The contact emailed the manufacturer but had not received a response. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure and current mileages were 67,000.
