Tl- the contact owns a 2005 Ford F-350. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 65 mph, the engine seized without warning. No warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was towed to leif johnson Ford located at 501 e koenig ln #1, austin, TX 78751 (512) 454-3711 where it was diagnosed that the fuel liner in the fuel tank caused the vehicle to seize and that the fuel tank was corroded and had clogged the injectors. The contact stated that the fuel tank, fuel injectors and fuel filters needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and acknowledged that failure and stated that the vehicle was not part of a recall and did not offer any further assistance.
