Brakes Failed problems of the 2015 Ford F-350

The contact owns a 2015 fifth wheel solitude (na) travel trailer being hauled by a 2015 Ford F-350. The contact stated that there was a premature failure with the wires associated with the brake system. While braking, the brake pedal was difficult to apply and the contact had to use excessive force. The repair shop diagnosed that the wires ran through the middle of the axle, and the coating was worn and caused a short with the wires, which caused the brake failure. The mechanic rewired the wires to the back side of the axle, clamped the wires on the outside, and repaired the travel trailer. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and provided no repair recommendation as well as no solution to ensure that the repairs were sufficient. The VIN was unknown.
