This is very dangerous because the traffic was moving at 70 mph and could have rear ended me. The f350 has been at the dealership since March 18. The dealer has diagnosed it but claim they cannot get the part they need to fix it. They insist I return the loaner and drive the f350 home with the problem.

Fan clutch failure at 34,000 miles, new clutch installed, fan clutch failure again at 47,000 miles. Causes unpredictable accelerations, delayed reaction and poor driveability. Ford did not honor warranty for first fan clutch as when they could service it, the truck was over 36,000 miles. No warning lights or other indicators, extreme engine noise when driving.

The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 8,000.
