Adaptive Equipment Problems of Ford F-350

Crash alert sensor and adaptive cruise control keep going out. Now the crash sensor which pre-loads the brakes is going off when I am parked. It seems like if I shut the truck down and restart it is back working, but if this system is pre-loading my brakes for a full brake application when I dont need it, I might get rear-ended for a slamming brake application when not needed. I have read about others having this issue and parts are back ordered. I am going back to the dealership again to see if they can fix this issue.

Driver's factory floor mat "creeping" up over the accelerator causing the accelerator to stick down and the vehicle racing out of control. This has happened at least 8 times & had to reach down to jerk the mat back. I contacted reuther Ford, mike bowen, & he acknowledged that this was not the first report to him from a customer, but Ford has not addressed this as of yet. This is a safety issue that needs to be addressed before it results in a death of a pedestrian.

- the contact has a aevit by emc. The contact stated that this equipment was used to help with steering, braking, and acceleration. The contact was just going down the road when all of a sudden the aevit system made a hard left and sent the vehicle into a ditch. The contact had to get seven stitches on his the right side of forehead. A police report was taken. The weather that day was cold, but clear. He was driving approximately 25 - 30 mph. There was approximately $7,000 worth of damage done to the vehicle. The vehicle has been repaired, but he has not driven the vehicle since. The contact no longer had the vehicle.
