Wheel Bolts Problems of Ford F-350

1999 Ford F-350 left rear dual tires came off. The police reported stated the dual studs were all sheared off. There was a possibility the studs were broken prior to the incident.

While in motion, the two rear tires on the left side broke off. One of the tires struck another on coming vehicle. The vehicle had been serviced for brakes 3 days prior to this incident, it was noted on the report that all lug nuts were loose, the right rear could be loosened by hand, ohio traffic crash report.

We have had four instances on this vehicle where the lugs on the wheels, both front and back, have sheered off. Twice leaving us stranded for hours - including a terrifying night in the nevada desert, with our children, stranded until four in the morning on the side of the road. This is a very serious and dangerous problem.

The studs that hold the right rear wheel snapped off ,causing the wheel to come off which could result in an accident.
