Consumer states her 2004 Ford f450 caught on fire while in operation. Smoke was coming from under the hood before the fire. The vehicle was last serviced on April 11, 2005. The fire department did respond. The engine compartment and cab melted. Therefore, there was no investigation as to why this occurred. This was not the consumers personal vehicle, but it belonged to her employer, and they were aware that she was filing the complaint. Gem air distributors leased the vehicle. The mileage was not exact, the maintenance log was inside the vehicle when it caught on fire.
