Two problems related to tire tread/belt have been reported for the 2000 Ford F-550. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The tread of the tire separated from the sidewalls. It was the inside tire of a dual wheel setup. ( dot number: cu9phmtj tire size: 2257or19. 5 ).
While pulling a trailer at 50 mph with driver & one passenger, noticed a flapping noise from rear inner tire. Entire sidewall has collapsed on a 2000, Ford f550 , original equipment, lmt460; dot# cu9r1htr389. Tire available for analysis.
