We bought this truck and paid over 30k and put down 10k. They never gave us the full report history of the truck. . . With two to three months the engine went out. We took it to the mechanic and he told us its not worth it. The engine if replaced will go out again. Ford had a differentcompany build the engines and all of there engines were bad. I beieve from 2006 to 2008 until Ford took over. So, we bought this truck from 1900 hamner Ave, norco, CA 92860 (951) 737-6151. We contacted them and they did nothing about it. So, now I am still making monthly payments of 543 a month and the truck broke down around June July of2014. I've been paying for storage plus monthly truck payment. This company knew the history of the truck but they went ahead and sold it to us. I found out the history because the lawyer recommanded that to me. I guess its hard for lemon commercial truck to handle. I just want my money back and for them to take the truck back. They have been fraudlent about this.

Turbo will over boost to 31 psi and the engine will go in to a fail safe mode reducing power to 5 miles an hour without warning. Causing you to have to pull to the side of the road and turn off the engine and restart to clear the fail safe mode. This has happen to me over 12 times. Ford has replaced the turbo twice under warranty. The problem seems fixed for the first 30 - 40 thousand miles. Then the same problem reoccurs. The biggest headache with this problem is it take weeks and some times months for Ford to diagnose. Do to the fact that when this happens no engine light comes on and no fault code is stored. Ford will not warranty the part out until they get a fault code. The only time the truck will throw a fault code is when this problem happens twice on the same day. Most of the time it only happens once a day. I find this problem to be a major safety issue. Do to the fact that it happens without warning and you can't always make it to the side of the road under reduced power. Be it heavy traffic or no shoulder to pull off on. There has been 2 times that I had to stop in the middle of my lane and shut the truck off and restart it before I could regain full power.

The truck has not run properly since it was purchased, and the motor was replaced back in 2013 with mileage of 31,00 due to oil being splattered all over and no power. We had spend over 10,000. 00 to fix the defective issues. Now almost 2 years to the day the engine has again failed. Ford offers no help or explanations as to why this continues to happen. .
Ford gas tank delamination. Loss of power. Engine missing. This has brought me extreme heartache at the worst time. I am a seasonal worker who relies solely on his truck. Without it I am out of business. It will cost me anywhere from $2,000 to $6,000 to fix it. And I simply don't have it.

Driver reported that the truck was not running well on return to warehouse. I sent him to dealer with truck. The engine quit on the way and we had to tow the truck to dealer. The dealer said the fuel tank had delaminated and ruined the fuel pump and several fuel injectors. It would cost over $4000 dollars to repair. I called Ford customer service to complain (the truck was only 1400 miles out of warranty) after several days the dealer called and said Ford would bill it as a warranty claim and split the cost with me which meant I would have to pay $1133 dollars. I had no choice but to pay it. In October 2014 the truck did it again at 232886 miles. I took the truck to someone else and was told the fuel tank had delaminated again. It cost $4295 to replace the fuel tank , fuel pump and three fuel injectors. This is a well known , widespread problem (google it on the internet ) and I think Ford should issue a recall and reimburse owners for all expenses , including rentals while repairs were made.

: the contact stated while accelerating from a stop sign, the vehicle hesitated for 3-4 seconds then took off. The dealership replaced the turbo, but the problem persisted. Updated 10/25/2006 - the vehicle's engine had no power until the turbo boost came on. The 3 to 4 second delay has almost caused the consumer to be hit by oncoming traffic.
200 Ford F-550, miss in engine unresolved thru dealers and other shops, been this way since new, consulted with last 2 owners, same issue, I replaced all 8 injectors, injector harness, rocker arms, still engine misses at 24-2600 rpms, white/blue smoke, hard cold starts, rough idling, problem has still not been able to be resolved I purchased truck to add to fleet in December 2004 and no one including Ford can fix this truck after several thousand dollars in repairs ive read reports Ford had issues not yet resolved on these trucks. Is this the case,? has it been resolved , and if so what cure fixed these trucks?.
