I was driving for couple hours then my oil light came on check engine light came on. Vehicle started to shake very badly. I had to pull over and see what happened. I started the vehicle up again and the oil light and check engine light are still on. I know that these vehicles have the wet belt system on the automatics. But they don't have one for the manual transmission. There should be a recall for these just like the automatics.
No.
Transmission going out with car having only 71,000 miles on it . A know fact that Ford knew when I bought this car new . And going out when on freeways or just about anywhere could me in danger.

Clutch and actuators diagnosed as needing to be replaced. This was a recall / campaign from Ford . I did not own the vehicle when recall was sent out in 2019. The new clutch has not been installed and now needs to be . Also, very low mileage on this vehicle . Ford should stand by its product and replace the recall free of charge .

Transmission control module for a 2015 Ford Fiesta is admitted by Ford as faulty, and a known issue. This part has had to be replaced several times, and there's no guarantee on durability or that there won't be future issues. Ford has admitted safety issues include loss of transmission engagement while driving, lack of power and slow or delayed shifting, no start, shuddering, stalling, slipping, ect.
I’ve owned my 2015 Ford Fiesta for about 7 years now. Within the first year, I contacted the Ford dealership explaining noises when driving and my dual clutch shifting gears. I sent them video sound recordings. They said it was typical of this transmission. The car has never felt smooth but “ok enough,” until 18months ago when I reported gears slipping. No error codes were detected but parts of my clutch were replaced. Now, 16,000 miles later I brought my car into Ford dealership saying I felt the gears slipping. They diagnosed a few other maintenance pieces like brakes and tires but said nothing was detected with the transmission and clutch. 3 weeks later, I was driving on a highway - lake shore drive in chicago, and my check engine light came on. My car would not change gears or accelerate past the 30mph I had been going. I felt like I was in neutral. I exited, fearing an accident. In stop and go traffic I used my hazard lights because I could not accelerate at each stop sign. I made it to a safe spot to pull over and then realized I could not reverse! I had my car towed to the Ford dealer from 3 weeks prior. At this point they could read a few clutch error codes but cannot be certain of the actual cause. In order to do so, they need my consent of a possible $1500 service charge for investigating the issue. Ford costumer service line has said “OH wow, we’re glad your weren’t in an accident. I’m sorry, your car does not meet criteria for any support from Ford. ” Ford has knowingly kept these faulty transmissions on the road and now they are telling me that they will not help look into my vehicle’s transmission and safety issues. This seems unreasonable when the issue is clearly linked to the faulty dual clutch powershift system. 1. 5 million Ford Fiestas may still be registered and driven with Ford offering nothing other than “I’m really glad you dodged an accident and made it off the highway. ”.

The contact then had the vehicle towed into the dealer after she discovered both an oil and transmission leak; the vehicle had also failed to start after multiple attempts. Despite the fluid leak, the contact was informed that the failure was related to her heating system; the contact inquired about the fluid leaks but was informed that there were no leaks or fault with the transmission. Upon return of the vehicle the failure, the hesitation persisted and the vehicle was taken back to the dealer where they confirmed the transmission fluid leak. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and was informed that there were no recalls on the vehicle for the transmission, she was referred to the NHTSA for assistance. The vehicle had yet to be repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 73,000.
Ford Fiestas such as my vehicle as well as Ford focus have been shown to have transmission issues and Ford has failed to perform a widespread recall. I bought my vehicle a year and a half ago from a Ford dealership and it has less than 75,000 miles and now has a transmission issue(transmission clutch shudder diagnosed by Ford dealership) that could cause the vehicle to suddenly stop moving or slip gears. No warning lights have come on. While researching this issue I found that a previous lawsuit regarding the failed part on my car did not include my vehicle and many others that have the same issue.
While driving vehicle, engine began to rev and became unresponsive to gas pedal. After slowing to a stop, vehicle began to respond to gas pedal and transmission began shuttering violently. Took to local mechanic and he won’t work on it because he said it is a “pattern problem “. $250. 00 to diagnose the obvious. Someone could be killed when the transmission suddenly stops working like that in freeway traffic.
The vehicle made a loud noise and jolted, the check engine light came on and the screen said "transmission fault service immediately. " I had the car checked by a local mechanic who advised me to contact Ford customer service since this has been a big issue with the Ford Fiestas. Customer service advised me to take the car to a dealership for testing, there they recommended that I have the entire transmission replaced but said it wouldn't fall under the warranty since it's the clutch that needs replaced. There are numerous customer satisfaction programs for the Ford Fiesta clutch and transmission (campaign #s 16m02, 19n07, 19n08, & 14m02) but none of them include the VIN number on my vehicle.
Vehicle will not go in reverse and will not accelerate.

This car was going down the street and would not shift and stopped going and we had too get it towed to the Ford house for repairs,.
On April 11, 2021, the 2015 Ford Fiesta I was driving unintentionally accelerated into a commercial building at a shopping mall. The car had two incidents of accelerating while applying the brake prior to the final incident where the car ran into a wall and was totaled. The car had never exhibited any braking or acceleration issues before this day. The first incident, I was slowing down to go over a speed bump. As I was applying the brake, the car jerked forward then stopped. It drove as normal through traffic for the next 8 miles. I was close to my destination, as I was applying the brake at a stop light, the car sped up and stopped when I pulled the emergency brake. Again, the car drove fine for the next mile. I was very aware while I was pulling into a parking space. Neither the brake or accelerator was applied as I was coasting into a space. As I applied the brake, the car sped up, jumped the curb and accelerated into the side of a building. According to a witness and supported by pattern of skid marks, at one point the car was airborne. With the distance of about 15 feet between the curb and wall, there was little time to react. In my attempt to pull the emergency brake, I injured my thumb. My passenger sustained various bruises from the seat belt and the front dashboard. Neither the driver nor passenger airbags deployed. According to the black box report, the car accelerated from 0-100% in the final 5 seconds and the brake was applied at 10%-55%, yet the car continued to accelerate. I did not remove my foot from the brake until after the car impact, which is supported by skid marks shown in photos. In August 2019, Ford motor was aware of a transmission clutch shutter issue, but still proceeded with selling the car to an auction. One month later, I purchased from a dealership.

After filling up my tank, I left the gas station and immediately approached a red light. When I came to a stop, my engine rpm dipped and my vehicle stalled out. I have noticed rpm dipping that occurs when I stop at a red light, usually after I add fuel. Other than this stall event reported, I have not experienced another, but the rpm dips do occur often, again, after adding gas or filling my tank. The dipping persists usually for at least 30 minutes after adding fuel. Luckily I was able to restart my car right away with no trouble. Rpm dipping was observed at each stop on my way home. Intensity of the dip varied.
The transmission goes into nutural while driving creating a loss of power while in motion. The air bags will not deploy and the light indicatoe is turned on on the dash display. Gas milleage has greatly decreased.

Car dash lights up with all alerts and then totally loses power. You are unable to put car into any gear, your literally stuck wherever this occurs. I've been to 3 mechanics including Ford autonation and an electrical diagnostic garage resulting in the same results " nothing" ! it also says immobilizer enabled service now???.
I was driving my car one night and in the mist of driving , it was jerking really bad and the acceleration was going in and out . The car came to a complete stop and even though it was on and running it wouldn't move as if it was stuck , luckily before someone hit me behind it jumped back into to gear and started to move a little until it started to jerk again. I didn't go anywhere but 2 mins down the street and back home. Once I got home and was ready to leave again it wouldn't start anymore and now I no longer have a car and I haven't even had it long. I took the car to Ford and it was stated that it's a recall on something to do due with my transmission and on the paper the same exact things that I was experiencing was on the recall possible symptoms.

The resivour cap, siezed up first time I was trying to add coolant. It took along time get it off! litterly had to break cap into pieces. And with oem part cap. From the Ford dealership replaced it? in now it's, overheats and no visible coolant leak. And this has been going on for several months. . The motor makes a clacking sounds. The 1. 0 turbocharge 3-cyl turbo is not working properly. Plus it's engine bay fuse box says engine fan is 60 amps in recently I noticed it has had a 40 gage amp. Thank that the under the hood engine fan. Wasn't perform at the recommended fuse. . It also at start up and sitting still at motor bog's down like it's about to cut off. Know the overheat proublem's. If I'm sitting still in neutral and I turn the ac on full-blast it stays at 4 bars which is normal for as long as I want and it doesn't over heat ? but, soon as I put it in 1st gear and try to drive it will overheat, not even going 10ft and I have to turn off the ac and put it on the heat. Full blast! within a few minutes it slowly goes down. But know that it's July if it's anything over 90 degrees outside I have to turn heat on full blast before making it 1-block or it overheats. In I have kept a close watch on the coolant level, and I have watched youtube videos and etc? trying to figure out what's wrong. In all my parts store location don't have any thing for my year make model nothing. I got this car from a dealership a year ago of the month July. In it gets regular oil changes, but I'm lost trying to figure out what is wrong, and what to do about it and others I know of have had same proublem with there's . . And I have to have heat on full hot on 1-2 level in 70 degree weather, and if I get onto the interstate and go to 55-70 mph I turn heat level to 4 full blast and it will still go up to 1 bar away from it telling me that engine is overheated. & at 2500 rpms it overheats! smh.
