I have recieved the notice from the manufacturer as expected. I have been notified by my local dealership of the recall. I have attempted several times since notification to have it corrected. I have been told on every occasion the parts were not available. Yet, a bit of searching on Ford's own parts website, I can order the part and have it delivered by Feb 26. At every service visit, the dealership has kindly reminded me of the needed recalls. I question, no parts? is Ford just thinking I will get tired and just stop. No parts in stock should mean, none in Ford's entire inventory. The part in question is only used on Ford Flex. No other models use this device. The reserved devices cannot be "for new car builds". I believe we are on the edge of a "bad faith" arguement. An issued "safety recall" should not mean "suggested when you have time recall.

Backup camera is not working at all; there is a blank blue screen that appears with a warning that states: camera is unavailable. There is an open recall #NHTSA #24v951 and #24s75. Walker Ford dealership was called today 10/14/2025 and stated there are no cameras available at this time for the recall. The parking sensors are no longer working because the backup camera is not working. My safety and others are at risk because I do not have any sensors to warn me if I am in a blind spot backing up.
Audio throughout the entire vehicle are malfunctioning as well as the reverse camera malfunction. This has caused a collision the 11th of October. The acm is severely malfunctioning and causing a huge safety hazard. No audio like radio, etc and alerts make sound not touch panel tones. Camera unavailable alert showed up as well as media unavailable showed on screen.

Rear camera malfunctioned screen showed “camera not available” didn’t alert any noise or warnings and a tree hovered slightly into parking spot and smashed in my rear window. Audio inside car malfunctioned as well (no musics, etc) and the touch pad tones stopped making sound when touched.
Rear view camera under Ford recall 25sa9 has been malfunctioning for months 3 separate Ford dealers tell me they do not have parts even though it's been 2 months since the recall notice. Ford 1-800 number does not recognize the recall number.
2019 Ford Flex limited and the rear view camera will come up with a blank screen or a blue screen and not show anything. Then will show the error of camera not available. This problem has been reported in other Flex vehicles and is listed on the NHTSA id number: 24v951000. According to the local Ford dealer, this vehicle is not affected but is showing all the symptoms of it. This occurs intermittently. The camera will work on one reverse, and not work on the next.
The back up camera in the vehicle almost never works properly. The majority of the time, while in reverse, the screen is blue or black. It will sometimes show the camera video feed but it will be upside down before the screen turns to black. It will than say that the camera is unavailable. If the back up camera is not operation, it can be very difficult to see small objects or young people directly behind the vehicle. The symptoms are the same as described in NHTSA recall number 24v951 which affects the same vehicle line and model year as this vehicle. This VIN is not affected by recall 24v951.
The camera shows upside down and rear parking aid doesn't work. Recall 25v442000 is for the same thing. But Ford dealer said it doesn't apply.

The rear backup camera is upside down. The rear backup distance alarm doesn't work. This has been recalled in other years. The price to repair in unreasonable. Its like not having a rear camera. This is a common problem. Please help.
While car is in reverse the rear view camera cuts in and out more than 75 %of time while. This has resulted in several near miss collisions while backing up. But when I checked my VIN it was included in the current recall for the same issue and concern.
Rear back up camera first started flickering in and out when I would go in reverse and now it doesn’t work at all. No warning before it went out just the flickering and now nothing. Then I seen where other vehicles my year had problems with their camera systems and thought it’s probably the same thing.

Backup camera constantly shows a blank screen or distorted upside down image. There was a recall issued today for my model year, but not my specific model. I was quite surprised because I have the identical issue with my vehicle as well. The camera has not worked in close to a year. At first it started to glitch occasionally, but now it never works. The screen is either blank or shows that distorted flipped image.
When reverse gear is selected: the rear backup camera stop providing rear view. It sometime is a blank screen or reports rear camera is not available. With out the camera working as designed reverse collisions may not be avoided. I did contact the local Ford dealer and they advised it was not a warranty issue. No other warning lights display.
Component or system failed: the rearview/backup camera system has failed. The image consistently displays upside down when the camera activates, and at times the camera does not turn on at all. The system remains installed in the vehicle and is available for inspection upon request. Safety risk: this malfunction severely impairs rear visibility when reversing, creating a significant safety hazard. The distorted image increases the risk of backing into pedestrians, objects, or other vehicles, especially in crowded areas or where children may be present. Problem confirmation: the problem has been reproduced multiple times by me. It has not yet been confirmed by a dealer or independent service center. Inspection history: the vehicle has not yet been inspected for this specific issue by the manufacturer, police, insurance representatives, or other parties. Warning lamps / messages: no warning lamps or dashboard error messages appear when the failure occurs. The first occurrence was around [insert approximate date/mileage], and the problem has been ongoing since then. Additional information: I am aware that Ford has an active recall for backup camera failures on certain models. My vehicle exhibits the same symptoms, but my make/model is not currently included in that recall. This is an ongoing problem. Not one specific incident.

Same issue as ever expanding recall for safety camera backing up. Blue screen, camera not available warning that does not go away while driving, black screen, upside down screen, distorted screen, and intermittantly operational and then not!.
The rearview camera has gone out, for which they have sold so many that the dealers cannot get replacements. This should definitely be recalled like the many, many other Ford rearview camera recalls! note: vehicle has less than 25,000 miles on it.
Back up camera not working; started flashing on/off, turning upside down, and now simply does not work; the beeping still works to let you know you’re close but the visual is not available. Not being able to see what is behind me is a safety issue as well as not being able to see how close I am to objects. I have taken my Flex to tim short Ford dealership in morehead, ky where the problem was reproduced. The vehicle has not been inspected by the manufacturer, police, or insurance representative. The warning message that the camera is not available appears when the vehicle is put in reverse. It began approximately 6 months ago.
Back up camara is intermittent.
Rear view camera does not come on in reverse gear. It was looked at about 18 months ago and the dealership service manager said it was the camera that needed to be replaced. They also saw that the camera came on for a few seconds , then went off again. They tried it about five times ,on and off. They wanted to charge me $200. 00 to diagnose the problem. So , here I am complaining to NHTSA about my vehicle's problem.
