I had my Ford Focus transmission repaired at least three times so far. As of today, the car is still stalling and jerking. I scheduled a service maintenance today. But, I was turned down by todd ( service rep) and bob (service manager) because the level of effectiveness was not amounted to 250. Therefore, they recommend that I should continue driving the car as is and risk my life and my family. This is not acceptable. My life and my family life is worth more than $3000.
Vehicle stalls, high and erratic idle.
Had recall service done for fuel tank deformation issue or so the dealerships says. But after I the car back it seems to be running great but 5 miles down the road it stalls on me and fails to crank when it did it wouldnt continue to run or idle for long before stalling again. After 30 mo s or so of priming fuel pump and retrying and letting set. It cranks up and runs fine. Recall needs to be further researched or dealership needs to be investigated for fraudulently claiming to complete recall procedures and not doing so.
18s32 manufacturer recall & 18v735 NHTSA recall. This recall was first posted approximately 8. 5 months ago and I still have not heard anything about bringing it in for repair. This is a huge safety concern and I have a child I transport in it daily. I want and need this recall resolved ASAP as I will soon be transporting another young child. I can feel it acting funny as if something isn't moving properly or it is stalling like it isn't getting fuel when I am moving whether it's slow fast, short distance or long distance and has been happening more and more consistently for the last month or two.
Will driving down the street the other day my car stalled out well driving this is not the first time this has happened not only that but when you accelerate my car grinds while shifting gears the Ford dealership already told me it's due to my recall issue but when asked to fix it they told me I was going to have to pay them first my children were in my car had we been on the highway we could have been dead something needs to be done about this needs to be done as soon as possible because I am telling you right now if something happens to me or my family I will hold whoever is reading this email and forward personally responsible.

There was a recall for the fuel purge valve getting stuck and not allowing my car to stay on after turning my car on it will run for 5 to 10 seconds before it stalls due to loss of fuel. I took my car to Ford dealership and they said they did not have the part to replace it, but they took my car in, once I got my car the very same day back. It did it again the next morning. I have tried fuel cleaners to resolve the problem but it still persists, it stalled on me while driving on this past Monday, and now when I try to search for the recall for information it looks like it was taken off from their website. The issue is not fixed and they do not have the part? as a consumer what can we do to fix a defect from manufacturing. My car is a 2015 Ford Focus with 75k miles and there was issues with this car from the start, including the known issue about the dual clutch transmission where it stutters and shakes while trying to change gears and take off from full stop. This car should be consider a lemon car and no one should buy it. This is fraud by Ford and they know it.

Tl the contact owns a 2015 Ford Focus. The contact stated that the transmission caused the vehicle to jerk and the transmission overheating indicator illuminated several times. In addition, the engine was not functioning normally. The vehicle drove roughly and there was a reduction in power and speed, which could cause the vehicle to stall. North county Ford (450 w vista way, vista, CA 92083, 1-(888) 833-0634) stated that campaign number: 18s32 (stuck canister purge valve may cause a stall) could remedy the failure. The vehicle remained at the dealer awaiting repairs. The manufacturer was notified. The approximate failure mileage was 50,000.
The car shuddered and jerked when stopped and on acceleration from a stop. A metal grinding can be heard from the engine while driving during this jerking from acceleration. The car would lose power while driving. One time, the car stalled, resulting in lose of power, while I was turning left through an intersection. I have brought the car into the dealership for repair many times with no resolution of these symptoms.
Tl the contact owns a 2015 Ford Focus. While the vehicle was stationary and while driving various speeds, the contact noticed that the fuel gauge fluctuated and the readings were inconclusive. The contact stated that the battery, check engine, and oil warning indicators illuminated. The contact also stated that the vehicle stalled on several occasions since may of 2017. In addition, the vehicle experienced a sudden loss of acceleration. Furthermore, upon filling the fuel tank, the engine began to shake/tremble and the vehicle stalled while stationary. The contact restarted the vehicle several times and applied pressure to the accelerator pedal in an attempt to correct the failure. An independent mechanic removed the fuel tank to assess the vehicle, but was unable to diagnose the cause of the failures. Waldorf Ford (2440 crain highway, waldorf, maryland 20601, (301) 843-2400) was made aware of NHTSA campaign number: 18v735000 (fuel system, gasoline). The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. My 2015 Ford Focus' transmission started to "shudder" with a jerking motion when accelerating at low rpm. Also I've experienced a loss of power/delayed acceleration when I press the gas pedal, especially when going up a hill, causing the car to not accelerate for about two seconds when I need it. There was a message "transmission overheating", then "press brake pedal" when I was idling in heavy traffic on the freeway. I had the car towed to serramonte Ford where I bought it, and bill the service person told me that "Ford Focus' are supposed to shudder, but that it probably had a bad double-clutch that needed to be replaced, and that there was a 12-week back order from the manufacturer, and that they would reprogram the computer and that should help the shudder problem as a temporary fix. I had an appointment that I waited four days for, then he told me the day of the appointment that it would be 3-7 days before he could look at it. When I called bill three times 3days in a row to see if it was fixed and him ignoring the messages, he called on the 5th day saying my car was ready. I went to pick it up and he said it still might have a little bit of a shudder and that it was normal and that it was safe to drive my car. He only listed that I complained of a shudder on the work order, never put down that any repair parts were ordered or on back order, and made it look like there was only an inspection along with an oil change. I drove my shuddering car home, perturbed at they're inadequacy. I received an e-survey from the dealership and I gave them the poor grade that was warranted. Within 30 minutes, service director henry called saying he'd have the clutch in only 8 weeks to appease me, but that I'd have to keep calling for updates. I don't feel safe driving it, fearful of it stalling when I need power critically. Faulty car that needs recall among many Focuses.
The Ford Focus stutters at startup when the engine is warm the car gets worse. The car will stall and is extremely dangerous. Ford has no fix they just tell me it is a manual transmission in an automatic car. I have tried premium fuel nothing helps. This is my daughters first car and I am afraid for her life.
