I took my Focus in for an oil change and was informed that the front timing cover has a leak the car has only 39068 miles on it but I have a friend who has the same vehicle and said she experienced the same problem had 41k miles.
The engine is starting to leak oil. The service writer did state it's a common problem with these cars.
