My 2016 Ford Focus st has severe stalling problems. I have not had this car for two months and this is the third time it stalled on me while driving on freeway at about 60mph. And would not start back up. I believe this is a very dangerous car to be driving in. Me or my loved ones could get killed. Hope someone will read this and help some kind of way. I have look up VIN on Ford data base and no recalls but I see every where that alot of people that have the same car has same issues. . . Please lets try to get Ford to recall our cars so we dont die. . .
I was driving my vehicle on a city street and the car stalled on the road and I had to coast onto a safe spot. The car would not turn back on for over an hour then it stalled once more and would not turn on. The dealership said they fixed the problem but it continues to stall while driving. We can not find the problem.

While driving within city limits on a daily basis, my vehicle shutters from the start and at acceleration, sometimes stalls as I start to eccelerate from red lights and stop signs, creating potential hazardous conditions. Engine light has come on and want go off, and smells of fuel while vehicle is being driven.
The vehicle stalled during a left turn into the right lane of oncoming traffic and was hit as a result. The vehicle was declared a total loss. The vehicle had been taken to Ford previously due to concerns of stalling/sluggish acceleration at which time the dealer disclosed an issue was known that was most likely the cause. The dealership kept the car and performed repairs. The acceleration seemed a little better but still not right based on decades of driving experience. I think the cpv issue (18s32/18v-735) may have caused the car to stall and be hit when it would not have been hit otherwise.
My car has severe hesitation when starting from a stop and or low speed. It has also stalled on two different occasions when pulling into a parking lot.
My check engine came on and now my car lost all power and every time I put my foot on the gas it acts like it's about to stall out I'm worried for my safety because this is just the first day and my vehicle is already acting up I called my dealership no answer I'm very upset if I die because of you're company and dealership failure better believe my family will sue especially since I've tried to contact my dealer multiple times.

On 10/27/2018 approximately 1330 after making a right turn onto 29 in warrenton headed towards culpeper going about 45mph the car sputtered and stalled. Took 3 times to get the vehicle restarted. Then did it again after making a left onto 17 in bealeton. The vehicle would get up to about 20 mph and just stall in traffic. This is becoming a major safety issue especially having my 12 year old in the vehicle with me.

Approximately at 30000 miles while still under warranty I brought the vehicle to sheehy of warrenton because while on rte 28 in sterling va the vehicle was intermittently jerking sputtering and stalling. Dealer stated they couldn't find any issues because no code was present. On 10/18/18 I brought the car in again because the car stalled multiple times while in motion. They stated that code says low fuel pressure sensor and they would have to replace that first to see. I noticed today there are recalls for the exact issue I'm having but recalls are only on the 2. 0 model mine is the 1. 0.
On October 11, 2018 the same day as hurricane michel, my 2016 Ford Focus st was involved in a single car accident where the vehicle cut off while in motion and lost complete control by itself, causing the car to flip on its side and be completely totaled. The cause of the crash was unknown at the time, but on October 25, 2018 Ford puts out a recall for the exact model Ford Focus because of an issue causing the car to randomly stall. They are telling owners to keep their fuel tank above half full to avoid this problem and I know at the time my fuel tank was not above half and the indicator lights were on. I believe the cause of this crash was from the recall that Ford put out only a few days after the accident totaling my 2016 Ford Focus st.

In addition, the transmission indicator illuminated and "warning car is to hot" appeared on the instrument panel. The vehicle had to be pushed back to the contact's home during the last failure. Inaccurate fuel gauge. First issue - my car would be reading that I had (example) 15 miles until empty and really I had 0 miles until empty. Ran out of gas twice because of this issue. Second issue - my car will stall out in the middle of driving/accelerating at any given time. Much worse when I have less than a half/quarter tank. My car will still stall even when I do have more than a half tank of gas. Most times, my car will not restart after the stall. This issue is more likely to happen as soon as I turn the car on, at a dead stop then about to accelerate, in stop and go traffic. I bought the car in June of 2018 and started to notice the fuel tank issue pretty quickly. The stalling out issue started to happen shortly after. I did receive a recall notice from Ford.

Just filled my gas tank up then as I left the gas station got about 1 mile up the road then while sitting at a stoplight I turned the ac on and idle dipped, car felt like it was going to die(which it did) then as I tried to re-start, cel came on and car would not start. About 2 more times and it fired up along with a service engine soon message . . . Luckily for me I was a block away from future Ford Lincoln where I originally purchased the vehicle. 3 days later I got a call saying my vehicle was ready for pick up. I get there and they tell me that the reason was due to I had a aftermarket power wire routed over engine assembly causing electrical interference. So they disconnected what I payed a local professional audio shop $140 to install 2 days after I got the car. So, long story short, I get in the vehicle only to see that my fill up @ the gas station was gone. . . They used damn near 3/4 of my tank of gas put over 100 miles on my car and I get 2 blocks away from the dealer and at the same light. . . . . **** happens again!!!! took it right back to the dealer. Just got my car back after 13 days in the shop and I couldn't be more pissed! 4th time I have gone to pick it up after hearing that they fixed the problem only to get in the car, drive it, and have it happen yet another time! they even tried to tell me it was my right front axle causing the problem this time around. ( I just had the left front axle replaced 2 months back at another dealer) throwing grease on a crank sensor causing my cel with dtc "p0106, p0236, p0340, p0344,p0365, p051b, p0532, p06a7, p08a9, p08b9" . . . Bla bla bla. . . They don't know what the problem is but they keep wanting to tell me they found the problem! what a waist of both our time. Now the car is in my driveway, wont start, throwing about 8 to 12 codes and im waiting to hear from Ford customer care.
Our Ford Focus stalled and could not restart. The car was able to start up with no problem, run for a few minutes but stalled when driving. The battery light came on and the engine would not turn over when attempting to restart the car. Car had been driven the day before for well over an hour without issue. No error code is returned to the technician when runs a diagnostic on the vehicle.
When going from 1st gear to 2nd gear the engine/transmission struggles to change gear. Leaving you with a delay to accelerate which can cause injury & somewhat of a stall out while attempting to turn into traffic. It sounds as if the engine/transmission is going to drop out of the front of the vehicle. It feels as if someone is playing tug of war & can't hold onto the rope when it is shifting gears; so it feels like it will fall out of or not change gears. I was told that is what they are supposed to do by the seller at david irwin Ford in tyler, TX.
