Tl-the contact owns a 2005 Ford Freestar. The contact stated that while driving at 25 mph, the vehicle jerked and a loud noise coming from the front of the vehicle. In addition, the accelerator pedal was depressed but the vehicle failed to accelerate as the rpms reduced. The check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The failure recurred on numerous occasions.
