Interior door latch (driver's door) fails to open. I cannot get out of my car without rolling down the window and opening the door from the outside. Also door will not lock when car is locked. I have read several complaints on this NHTSA site and other forums with numerous other people who are experiencing the same problem with their Ford Fusion. Please investigate this issue and initiate a recall if warranted on the interior door latches of the Ford Fusion. This is indeed a safety concern - especially if someone must get out of the car quickly - also lock failure could be serious security problem.
My car stopped shifting gears on me and the warning light did not come on I took it to different mechanics and they said my transmission was going out and my car is to new for the transmission to be going out.
I have a 2007 Ford Fusion and all four of the door handles have broken and have read countless forums about others with the same problem. Am wondering why there hasn't been a recall.
From 42,000 to 45,000 miles, over 3 month period, creaking, squeaking suspension sounds at low speed have become progressively worse to the point it is incredibly loud, distracting and annoying. Examination by mechanics yields no explanation. This seriously affects the resale value. I wouldn't buy it, sounding like this, and so far unable to repair it. Would appreciate any advice/help offered.
