Air Bag Light On problems of the 2009 Ford Fusion

In April of last year 2019 I was notified of a airbag recall on my vehicle. I went and got my airbag recall done. Now my airbag light on dash stays on for the pass three days. I took my vehicle back to the same Ford dealers that service my car. My vehicle was in motion with the airbag light still on. The dealer shop is telling me it may not be my airbag and I will have to pay for diagnosis,etc.

The manufacturer was not notified. The air bag warning indicator illuminated, indicating to remove objects near the passenger seat. This may be a huge coincidence but immediately after being sideswiped with only passenger side view mirror damaged, the driver's side door would no longer open from the inside. We thought it was related to the impact on the passenger side but this seems to be a recurring problem with Ford Fusions. We have to keep the motor running, lower the window and reach out to the exterior driver door handle to open the driver side door. This should be a Ford recall item. For awhile the airbag light will intermittently stay on while driving.
