On may 2021 accident happen prior to brake couldn't t brake as soon as it's pressed. It took long time after pressing the brake to come to complete stop. I contact silver spring Ford to diagnose the recall issue but they insist I have to pay. I explained them it's on recall and the letter I received stated that diagnose and parts indicate free of charge but the are refused to perform the diagnosis and solve the issue.
Extended brake travel that caused me to get into a car accident. Also my airbag did not deploy causing me to have a serious headache. I had two people in the vehicle with me. I pushed down on the brake pedal and it felt like it wasn’t stopping or it was stopping very slowly. I was driving straight the person in the white pontiac was trying to turn left. I had the right away no yield or stop sign, but she pulled out in front of me. Driver was a 16 year old girl.

Recall for abs was issued back on Dec 18, 2019. Last update is there was supposed to be a fix expected by end of first quarter of 2020. It's now the end of first quarter of 2021 (15 months later) and there is still no indication of a repair date. In addition there is now a safety recall regarding the driver airbag as well. I understand it takes time to implement a fix, but it seem as if the manufacturer is not putting enough priority on getting these repairs done in a timely matter. At this rate, with two active safety recalls, either fixes need to be expedited; or an acceptable buy-back plan that ensures owners are compensated for the full vehicle value plus time and risk.

My daughter rear ended another vehicle and pushed that vehicle into another vehicle because her brake pedal went all the way to the floor and failed to stop her vehicle. She repeatedly mashed the brake pedal with no response. The air bags should have deployed and did not. She was driving at about 45-50 mph on the highway and traffic stopped in front of her. She was driving carefully because it was in the city and had been raining. She was not following too closely or going too fast for conditions. Her brakes failed. Even though Ford says this vehicle is still safe to drive until the parts come in for the recall, it is not. This is a dangerous vehicle to drive until Ford can do the issued recall for the hydraulic brake valve. They still don't have the parts as of the day I'm typing this complaint. Recall number 19v-904. I have made state farm aware and they are performing investigations. I have hired an attorney because my daughter is not at fault. I have reported the incident to Ford and they were not helpful. She was cited in the accident and there are claims for injuries and damages.

Took vehicle to be repaired for previous airbag issues and the light has come back on while driving on a city street in rockport, texas and never went back off.
Ford air bag recall. Ford unable to repair in a reasonable time. After years of earning to replace the airbags and noting none were available, I received notice from my state dmv to have the air bags replaced. I called Ford to setup an appointment and they don't have anytime to do the work until 1 October. I consider the years of wait and then requesting an additional 6 weeks notice to make the replacement unreasonable.
Takata recall. I keep getting recall notices from Ford mo. Co. , I have taken the car in, they want me to sign a waiver thats says, there not responsible for any damage while the car is in there possion. The letter from Ford says we will be given a loner car to use, the local dealer says no !. If the mechanic does damage there not responsible, if its lost are stolen, backed into while sitting on their property, broken into, there not responsible !!!.
Takata recall I had made an appointment for 3/28/19 we had an accident on 3/26/19 a car hit us at a red light totaled the car the airbag hit me in the chest bruises and cuts . I was the passenger my husband the driver he lacerations mostly . I also had broken ankle on the right foot and a sprain on the left. The car was totaled. Car was in motion.

Takata recall - after receiving written notices of the recall, I approached my local dealership about the repair (koons falls church Ford). I've called several times about making an appointment and having the part ordered to only be told "they don't have a record of if". I called today, after I was told the part should have arrived a week ago, and was told that they didn't have the part and had no way of knowing when it would come in. And that "given that the company's recently gone out of business" I should expect it to be quite a while. When I mentioned that I was concerned about the safety of my vehicle, I was told that the recall only impacted my passenger side and to not sit there.

Takata recall: I have been entirely unable to obtain service for this recall for over one year. Every call to the dealer is rebuffed with the message that I must be a crank of some kind for wanting this recall service to be done. Airbags are important and they should fix them in a reasonable time, not make me wait years with an unsafe product.
Takata recall, not getting done, I have been trying for more then 5mos to get this recall done, 3 times the dealer (delacy Ford) has told me they ordered the part and would call me when it comes in. . Never get a call, I have called Ford customer service with more broken promises. They even called a second dealer (basil Ford) and said that dealer would call me to schedule an appointment, 3 weeks later, still no call.
After hitting a piece of ice the abs system kicked in and did what it was suppose to do, however since this happen my brake pedal continues to go's to the floor barely stopping my vehicle, there are no lights on to indicate any problem, but something is wrong as brake pedal should not be that soft and go to the floor. I looked this up to see if there are any issues with other Ford Fusions and found that it is a problem with many Ford Fusions, isn't this a serious safety concern, my brakes go to the floor and there is no light to indicate there is a problem with the braking system when obviously there is or my pedal wouldn't be going to the floor.
Takata recall I have been trying for over 6 months to get this takata airbag fixed. When I call a Ford location ( local dealership/customer service) they tell me my car has been fixed. I have not taken my Fusion anywhere for this recall fix. I have made over 30 phone calls to Ford. There is a VIN number mix up in the Ford system. Another car was repaired using my VIN#. My airbag has not been repaired. Ford tells me that it has. Please help!.
