During summer months with air conditioning running, the cabin of the car fills with heavy exhaust fumes whether the air is recirculated or outside air. Daily commute is less than 10 minutes and traffic is light. I keep my windows closed when air conditioning is on. I haven't noticed this problem in the winter. I am worried about being exposed to dangerous carbon monoxide levels in the car. This occurs every time the car is driven both on the freeway and surface streets.
The contact owns a 2012 Ford Fusion. While the vehicle was on and in the park position, the air conditioner failed. The contact stated that the air condition unit started emitting hot air. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing. The contact was informed that the air condition actuator and wires was burned. The vehicle was repaired; however, the remedy failed to repair the vehicle. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 10,000.
