1 Air Bag Light On problem

Failure Date: 02/15/2021

My passenger side airbag indicator came up with no warning and wouldn't shut off. The car will not pass inspection without this being addressed. The dealer is telling me they have to replace the airbag on passenger side for $1900. I was not involved in a crash, the light just came on and wouldn't go off.

2 Air Bag Light On problem

Failure Date: 01/17/2019

My abs, power steering, traction control, rear view assist, airbag light all went off at the same time. I live in michigan, so there is salt on the road during the winter. It seems there is a Ford recall 15s14 that seems to address this but the dealership refused to fix stating that there is no recall for my Fusion. This is a safety issue as the loss of power steering is extremely dangerous in the winter. I am concerned for my safety. I am disturbed at Ford and the dealerships response to this safety issue.

5 Air Bag Light On problem

Failure Date: 04/07/2015

Takata recall___ since 26k miles the front airbag fault indicator has been lit and cannot be cleared. I suspect Ford knows that more that the vins identified previously are in fact faulty. I will not buy another Ford made in mexico junk. They don't honor thier customers well enough to warrant any further business from me.

6 Air Bag Light On problem

Failure Date: 06/05/2013

1. Both the check engine light and airbag light come on (at different times) while the car is being driven. 2. When cranking the engine during starting, the cranking time takes about 4-5 seconds. The extended crank time concerns me with respect to the longevity of the starter and battery wear. 3. The vehicle looses power when driving uphill. What's even more upsetting (considering the very low mileage an the issue happening only 3 weeks into ownership) is the fact I've had the car has been to dealership 4 times and every time I'm told there's nothing wrong with the car. I have pictures taken with my cell phone of the check engine and airbag lights on and I'm still not getting any help or consideration. This is very, very frustrating!!.
