The airbag light stays on, even though it has never been deployed. The dealership cannot determine why the airbag light stays on. My last vehicle inspection was on 07/11/2024, at schicker Ford of st. Louis.
“temporarily lost communication with the climate system” error. Alert suddenly came on while driving, no prior issues or signs of error. Windows will not go down, air conditioner will not come on, cannot use climate touch screen or control volume from dash.
Airbag sensor is on. Took to mechanic and the wire that runs thru latch has broken apart. Need to replace latch as well as wiring.

The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign numbers: 16v875000 (air bags) and 18v167000 (steering) and 22v413000 (power train) would like to be removed from the recall distribution list as he no longer has a lease on the vehicle. I was making your left turn into a parking spot and suddenly I've got lights on my dash service advanced track check rear park aid abs light on traction control lights on airbag light on and power steering got tight.
While driving on the freeway lost control of steering, spun around into traffic when trying to switch lanes, and flipped over multiple times across the freeway without airbag deployment. My passenger and I suffered injury due to this. I am still going to physical therapy for my shoulder. No messages prior to the accident, I made sure to follow all safety precautions and take care of maintenance, and all safety recalls as soon as possible. The car has been sent over to the police and insurance company for further inspection.
I went to have my car inspected and it passed but they gave me a form with 4 recalls I need to have repaired at no charge ASAP please.
The yellow air bag light remains on constantly, indicating that there is an air bag malfunction. I believe there was an airbag recall on this vehicle, but I don't remember since I had five cars at one time.
Car has a door latch recall as well.
Transmission is slipping really bad. It stalls while driving and trying to accelerate. It also shifts out really rough. The electrical system stays on even when the car is off I've already replaced refurbished transmission and the wheel bearing. I feel very unsafe and don't allow my kids to ride in car for not knowing what could happen. Even while car is idling there a loud knock.
I rear-ended a 2002 Dodge ram. A guy was mad that I blew at him because he slept the previous traffic light and slammed on brakes at a green turning arrow and I hit him, he kept going. My whole front end is damaged. Air bags should've come out.
I've had my vehicle since October 2015, my vehicle takes to long to stop while driving. The distance between car can be far but car still won't stop. I have had 2 accidents in this vehicle because of this. It's like the car is glides and you have to put excessive force on brake to get vehicle to stop. You can also be completely stopped at a light and the car will lightly glide but to the point u don't notice the car is moving. The 1st accident the airbag deployed I wasn't even doing 2 mph. I was sitting in traffic with foot on brake and car glided. Miles at time was less than 50,000.
Driving steady state on normal state highway road surface in dry daylight conditions, the vehicle began chiming and displaying a long sequence of error messages and mils. After a few seconds, speedometer zeroed and cluster lost power. Center stack then lost power. The vehicle had no exterior lights, no horn. Vehicle "believes" ignition is off, therefore no airbags. After pulling over and a key off/ key on, vehicle was normal for a couple minutes, then repeated this problem. Vehicle has been to 2 different dealers for this intermittent issue. First issue was with vehicle under warranty and dealer found no problem other than long list of codes. 2nd dealer in Dec 2018 performed repair detailed on TSB to wrap chaffed wire. Problem occurred again Jan 23 and 26, 2019. Additionally today vehicle will not start.
Takata recall. I just received the notice in the mail.
My car air bags just don't deploy due to the seat belt recall I'm guessing.
Takata recall. . . My Ford dealership still doesn't have parts to replace the airbag.
My car veered off the road and I hit a cut off tree about the diameter of a telephone pole. It hit dead center in the front and not one single airbag deployed and the seatbelt let me fly up and hit mt head very hard on something.

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2014 Ford Fusion. While reversing the vehicle from within the garage, it hesitated and stalled several times. The contact was unable to determine when the failure would recur. The vehicle was taken to the dealer more than twice, but they were unable to replicate and diagnose the failure. In addition, the contact was included in NHTSA campaign number: 16v875000 (air bags), but was uncertain as to when the manufacturer would supply the parts to the dealer. The contact was waiting for the manufacturer to determine a solution to prevent the failure. The manufacturer had not yet established a recall nor a service campaign to provide a remedy. The failure mileage was not available. VIN tool confirms parts not available.

Takata recall the 2014 Ford Fusion se rental car I was driving on 1/14/2015 while driving southbound on hall street with cross street of grimblin road in st. Louis mo. I was struck by another driver traveling northbound who made a u-turn and when the air bag deployed and exploded causing shards of glass and other foreign matter to be embedded in multiple locations on the left side of my face, forehead, eye. Along with eyelid laceration that required stitches with glass still in my eye. Along with disfigurement where my eye was stitched. Dark marks and scars on my face and eye.
"takata recall" control module did not detect car that ran into me,when the airbags deployed it smashing glass deep into my eyelid and forehead that surgeons did not get all of the glass out of my face due to the airbag smashing it so deep into my face. In motion on the city streets.

I got the information stating I had recall for restraints control module. I called Ford to have it replaced and they said that since my light is not currently on they wont replace it until 3q 2015. Completely unacceptable and a huge safety concern. I wont drive it in fear that it will fail right before a wreck. I drive 35,000+ a year.
Very shortly after first adjusting the steering wheel's tilt and telescope (which may be unrelated), during a short drive, many controls attached to the steering wheel stopped functioning. This included turn signals, cruise control, cell phone controls on the steering wheel, radio volume on steering wheel, and information display controls on the steering wheel. Of these, the turn signals are probably most critical to safe operation. Note that the horn, and the windshield wiper/washer, continued functioning properly. The next morning, a sales representative from the dealership found the vehicle in the same condition, but seemingly was able to restore service by "jiggling" the turn signal lever, indicating to me that it was resting very slightly forward of the normal at-rest position, and recommended service department investigate further. Dealer service department found a circuit board faulty. Part has been ordered for installation. In an abundance of caution, concerned that air bag deployment might be impaired were an accident to occur, the dealer provided substitute transportation pending repair.
