Tl takata recall. The contact rented a 2014 Ford Fusion. While the contact was driving southbound at approximately 35 mph, another vehicle traveling northbound made a u-turn and crashed into the front of the contact's vehicle. The front driver and passenger air bags, and side passenger air bags deployed and emitted a substance and debris. The contact's vehicle was spun around. A police report was filed. The contact sustained facial injuries, bruises to the body, and a concussion, which required medical treatment. The left side of the contact's face was bruised when the air bag deployed with force from the steering wheel. The front passenger side air bag and front passenger side door air bags deployed forcefully. The vehicle was towed to a yard by the insurance company and inspected. The vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign numbers: 16v875000 (air bags) and 15v250000 (steering). A dealer was not contacted. The manufacturer was later notified of the crash. The failure mileage was not available.
