Tl-the contact owns a 2014 Ford Fusion. The contact stated that while stationary, after filling the fuel tank with 3/4 of fuel, a loud rattling noise sounded from the vehicle. The contact stated that the loud rattling noise sounded as if the exhaust may have made contact with the fuel tank. The contact is an independent mechanic and inspected the vehicle but could not find the source of the failure. The contact highlighted that the fuel tank rattling noise only sounded when the tank was 3/4's full. In addition, the contact stated that the noise became more prominent in colder temperatures. A dealer was not made aware of the failure. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 86,000. Ad.
1. When pumping gasoline, the lever clicks off every 1-2 seconds, taking long time to fill gas tank, and never knowing if over-filling. I must repeatedly turn the ignition on/off/on in order to see the gas gauge. 2. The body dents easily.
