Airbag light stays on diagnosed with failed OCS system.
Airbag light will not go off when I start my car. The light has been on throughout the entire day.
Airbag light comes on after you start the car but there is no issue. Recall was fixed recently as well but apparently the senor is not covered in the recall.
Passengers air bag sensor does not work properly. When starting the car the passengers airbag light (0ff) comes on and goes away immediately regardless if there is a person in the sit (adult). Air bag seems to be on all the time with no light indicated. Don't even know if it works.
Car stopped accelerating in the middle of the highway, yellow wrench light came on and airbag light came on. The car started shaking and came to a complete stop. I barely made it to safety on the highway full of cars. I pulled over and turned it off because it wouldn't drive. I turned it back on and it drove fine. I have researched this and realized this has been happening to thousands of people who own 2016 Fusions and yet there is no recall. I am terrified of driving it. It seems to be the throttle body that needs complete replacement but at expense of the owner despite thousands of cases. How can this be? please advise.
The contact owns a 2016 Ford Fusion. While driving approximately 60 mph, the accelerator pedal was depressed and the vehicle failed to accelerate. The check engine and air bag warning indicators illuminated continuously. The vehicle came to a complete stop, shook, and stalled. The vehicle was able to restart. The dealer could not duplicate the failure. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 9,700.
