2017 Ford Fusion. Consumer writes in regards to defective battery. The consumer stated since the purchase of the vehicle the battery has died a total of 7 times. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for repair 4 times. The dealer was unable to determine the cause of failure.

2 Battery Dead problem

I bought my Ford Fusion used from a dealership. I drove the car home and parked it in my garage. The next day I went to leave and my battery was dead. I thought maybe somehow I left something on to I jumped it and went on. 4 days after I went to a friends house and I didn't drive my car for 2 days and went to leave and it was dead again which leads me to believe the is a fault or something is not turning off like it should when the car is shut off. I have read that others have had the same problem.

3 Battery Dead problem

Failure Date: 06/26/2017

I've had battery failure on 4 occasions within a month of purchasing the vehicle and the battery has been replaced but the issue remains. This is a known issue with the Fusion as I've read in many blogs online and complaints on NHTSA website but Ford has yet to issue a tsa or recall.
