Brake Hoses, Lines/piping, And Fittings problems of the 2017 Ford Fusion

The contact owns a 2017 Ford Fusion. The contact stated while driving 55 mph and attempting to slow down, the brake pedal was depressed and went to the floorboard, and the vehicle failed to come to a complete stop. The contact was able to pull to the side of the road. After a visual inspection, the contact became aware of brake fluid leaking from the front driver’s side brake hose. The brake warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, who determined that the brake hose had ruptured. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 93,000.

I took my vehicle to mullinax Ford of olympia for a squeak during suspension jounce. They traced the problem to a brake line rubbing on the sway bar. They allegedly fixed the issue. On March 5, 2019, I experienced a complete hydraulic failure of the vehicle's brake system. The vehicle was towed to skyline Ford in salem, or for repairs and they found a brake line failure due to rubbing the vehicle's sway bar. I believe there is the potential for this to be a widespread issue and am requesting a full investigation due to the volume of Ford Fusion vehicles on the road and the severity of a brake hydraulic failure. The issue may be confined to "sport" models which may have a larger front sway bar than other Fusion models. My vehicle has over 50,000 miles which is abnormally high for a 2017 model year vehicle. As other vehicles of this type acquire the mileage my vehicle has, more may be subject to this type of failure. The sport model was not produced before 2017.
