Takata recall 1. Received recall 16s26 recall notice July 2016. Said repair parts not yet available. Initial recall notice had no warning to not use front passenger seat of car. 2. Received recall update December 2017. Said repair parts projected to be available spring 2018. This recall update had warning "do not allow anyone to sit in the front row passenger seat". 3. Ford motor company has said they have no obligation to provide a loaner car or any other financial compensation for not being able to use the car passenger seat. 4. Ford motor company have also been very evasive about whether they will stand behind the car if front passenger seat is used and passenger is subsequently injured as a result of airbag malfunction. 5. Ford dealer service dept rep said that central virginia is not a high risk area because humidity is not as high as areas like florida or texas. Service rep implied that there is minimal risk of air bag malfunction - but they did not actually say this. 6. My question is should I use the front passenger seat and if not, what recourse do I have for my financial loss?.

Warning to not allow anyone to ride in passenger seat! totally ridiculous! my wife can't drive(handicapped) and I have kids that need rides. There is little to no room in back seat. Ford needs to immediately get the parts to fix this! what is taking so long? I have the letter if further information is required.

Ford keep sending me emails and there are no dealersis available that have the airbag in stock I want this to stop but I want Ford to be mandated to replace the airbag ASAP. Every time I've called the garage they say they're not available this is been going on for 3 years Ford could do better. A woman on the customer care and Ford told me I could drive the car and it is fine. So why bother to do the recall this is all pretending, it's been going on for 3 years.

I am concerned because of the age of the car (11 years ) and that it has continuously been kept in a hot and humid climate -ocean city, MD. It meets all 3 criteria for priority replacement. As of 1/15/2018 no replacement is available. I received a letter telling me not to use the front seat for passengers.

Takata recall-I have been waiting since early December 2017 for a fix to the passenger air bag recall. No resolution by takata to date and I was advised not to have anyone in the passenger seat. I need to drive coworkers and friends/family frequently and this is a huge inconvenience. Takata recall : I have attempted to contact greenway Ford and Ford and was told by both, that the parts are not yet available and will be notified when they are available. However, they are not able to give me a time frame and could be months from now. That is a serious concern of mine and for my passengers. Takata recall received on July 2016 safety recall from Ford motor CO. , safetyrecall 15s21 frontal airbag passenger side, as of the date the local dealership I have been taking my vehicle for service keep informing me that they have never received these parts and have no idea if they will ever get these parts. Last visit was oct 2017. I have called numerous time and the same response "don't know yet".

I called the rye Ford dealership on August 7, 2017 and was told the parts were backordered and that I would receive notification when they are available. Recently, I received a notice from tk holdings regarding the airbag recall. What am I supposed to do if the dealership doesn't have the replacement airbags? it's been eight months since I got the first notification. That's absurd! please offer me a solution to resolve this issue.
