I cannot pump a full tank of gas unless I stand there and pull the gas nozzle out every second!! it is driving me crazy! there has to be an issue with the fuel system and I have seen many complaints! Ford should fix and recall this issue!!.
Every time you go to put fuel in the car, the pump will kick off like the fuel tank is full but it's not. Then the whole time you are trying to pump gas it will kick off probably 20 more times until you are done. This is been ongoing every since the car was purchased. What should be a five minute job to fill up your gas tank can take as much as 20 minutes. Ihad another 2007 Ford Mustang that did the very same thing but I ran off a low shoulder and part of the estimate was that I had to replace the gas tank and ironically I never had that issue again on that car. I owning 2 of this specific cars being of the same year make and model, I feel it's definitely a design or recall issue that needs to be addressed.
Can't fill the gas tank as it can't be pumped on pulling the gas nozzle all the way. I have to pull the nozzle one pull at a time to get gas in and gas splashing back on me and car. I have wasted a lot of gasoline doing this and a lot of time th get it to a 1/2 a tank if I'm lucky. There should be a recall or dealer fix.
