The vehicle was serviced per NHTSA campaign number: 15v319000 (air bags), but the remedy failed to repair the vehicle. The contact mentioned that the air bag warning indicator remained illuminated after the recall repair. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 65,000.

3 Warning Light On problem

Takata recall. The contact owns a 2010 Ford Mustang. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 15v319000 (air bags); however, the part to do the repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact state that the air bag warning light was illuminated. The approximate failure mileage was 42,000. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue.
