Hi there, I believe there is a recall currently on Mustangs for the rear view camera not working. I checked my VIN number as my car has the same issue, but it doesn't show at a recall, I'd like understand why this is as the issue is on the same model, and year. I live in the uk, and this same issue happened with my car that was made in us, so I'd like to know if my car was in the us would it have been recalled regarding this rear camera recall. As the cars in the uk aren't and I just want to understand my options with Ford. I know this is a strange request, but would appreciate your steer on this.

The back up camera periodically has a black screen or a blue screen. The sound of an object getting closer some times works and sometimes doesn't. Also the lines showing where the tires are on the camera do not appear either. Transmission was replaced under warranty for several issues. It's the 10 speed version. However even with the new transmission. It tends to lag on gear 4 mainly.

The contact owns a 2016 Ford Mustang. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 22v08200 ( back over prevention ) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was not made aware of the issue. The contact had not experienced a failure. I was pulling into a parking space, I stepped on the brakes. The care spend up with the tires spinning and jumped the curb and hit a tree. When . And hit a tree a CO worker witness my car s wheels spinning forward when I had my foot on the brakes. The enitre right front sife of the car is destroyed and the passenger side door is not opening.
