36 Tire Tread/belt problem

Firestone wilderness at tuolps, p235/75r15, experienced tread separation, consumer states the steel was showing through one of the tires, these tires were not included in the recall.

37 Tire Tread/belt problem

Inside/outside edges of firestone wilderness at tires p235/70r16 are showing excessive wear, was having steering control problems & vehicle was vibrating. Took vehicle to firestone retailer. Left tires alone replaced with another brand of tires. Dot vn08.

38 Tire Tread/belt problem

Firestone wilderness at tires (p235 75 r15) have a line all the way around the tire which is the start of tread separation, dealer informed consumer that all tires should be replaced, consumer requests help with getting the tires.

Firestone tires had visible splits at the tread/sidewall interfave of several tires, consumer request reimbursement. Nlm.

Crack lines around circumference of tire where tread meets sidewall. ( dot number: vnhl1py028 tire size: p235/75r15 ).

All four tires are wearing out excessively around the edges. Middle of tires are doing fine. Vehicle was checked due to the right tire failing to maintain air. No leaks were found. Ford dealer will not exchange the tires. Indicated not on recall. Firestone retailer indicated the same. Tires has 50,000 miles on a 1998 Ford Ranger. P235/75r15. The tires were not on recall, according to the dealer. But these tires were cracking around the tread just like those on recall.

42 Tire Tread/belt problem

Pe00020; tire tread separation: all four tires were showing signs of tread separation. All 4 tires have cracked around the tread. Tire size p235/75r15, dot # vnhl. Original tire equipment on a 1998, Ford, Ranger. Tire mileage 43,000.

43 Tire Tread/belt problem

Tread separation noticed when inspected by certified technician during routine service. ( dot number: w2uu tire size: p22570r15 ).

44 Tire Tread/belt problem

Pe00-020; 35,000 miles, p23575r15, dot w2hl1py407, original equipment with Ford Ranger, 1998. All 4 tires have developed cracks where the tread begins/at corner of tread ,on outside of sidewall. Cracks were all around the tire. Consumer went to 3 tire shops, including firestone. They all recommended to get tires replaced, except for firestone. Firestone wilderness at pp235/75/r15.
