One problem related to brake drum shoes/linings has been reported for the 1999 Ford Ranger. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The consumer felt the brakes lock up, and the parking brake locked up also. Consumer had to pump brake to stop the vehicle. The dealer replaced the rear cable, shoes, and drums.
