Front Suspension problems of the 2000 Ford Ranger

1 Front Suspension problem

Failure Date: 07/30/2002

Consumer states before now, the vehicle shuttered on the passenger side while driving from 35 mph up to 50 mph. Now the vehicle shuttered severely all over when driving at any given speed. This condition has caused excessive front wear on the tire. Dealer and manufacturer were notified and both informed the consumer that the vehicle was not covered under a recall. 2 Front Suspension problem

Failure Date: 04/28/2001

While driving vehicle would wander from side to side in traffic. Would happen at same speed. Problem was intermittent.

3 Front Suspension problem

Failure Date: 01/01/2001

While driving over a ditch or a drop off a loud popping noise is heard.

4 Front Suspension problem

Failure Date: 06/24/2000

Flat tire while driving-no obvious cause of failure-I checked for nails, etc. Found none. ( dot number: tire size: p225/70r15 ).

5 Front Suspension problem

Failure Date: 06/05/2000

Consumer was traveling about 60mph on the highwayand heard a rattling noise. Vehicle started vibrating and the right rear tire was flat . There were two injuries. Firestone wilderness at 225/70/r15.

6 Front Suspension problem

Failure Date: 04/15/2000

Single truck rollover. Driver ejected and killed instantly. (dot number: vd70 tiresize: p255/70r15).

7 Front Suspension problem

Vehicle had firestone wilderness tires on it, four tires were warped. When driving at highway speed vehicle shook and pulled, vehicle became hard to control when at high speeds. Dealer was contacted.

8 Front Suspension problem

Consumer noticed a problem with front end suspension, there was a possibility that vehicle was out of alignment. Problem has caused excessive wear of front tires. Also, vibration in front end when driving over 60 mph. Consumer has contacted dealer, dealer was unable to determine the cause of the problem after a diagnostic check.
