Wheel problem #1

Entire spare tire storage mount assembly broke free from frame and pulled wires and hoses with it as it went under my right tire and caused me to go off road nearly crashing int trees.

Tl-the contact owns a 2005 Ford Ranger. The contact stated that while driving 25 mph, the contact went over a small bump in the road. The contact then noticed looking through the rear view mirror, that his spare tire had fallen out of the tire mount and was rolling in the middle of the road. The contact then observed that the frame cross members on the tire mount were rusted very thin. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 240,000. Cs.

Wheel problem #4

Under- bed mounted spare tire mounts rusted through causing tire to break free from vehicle at highway speeds. Upon further inspection it was noted vehicle has serious frame damage from rust, particularly the fuel tank support straps. The frame is falling apart at an alarming rate.
