The contact owns a 2019 Ford Ranger. The contact stated that the heated seat overheated to the point where the contact received severe burns along the back down to the back of the legs. The contact had not taken the vehicle to the dealer to be diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and referred the contact to the NHTSA hotline for assistance.
