1 Front Suspension Control Arm problem

Failure Date: 09/01/2011

The contact owns a 2000 Ford Taurus. The contact stated that the frame was rusted and the lower control arm and drive shaft fractured while the contact was driving low speeds. The dealer and manufacturer denied any assistance with repairs to the vehicle. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 138,777.

2 Front Suspension Control Arm problem

Failure Date: 02/01/2002

Wheel alignment was off due to corrosion. All four tires were warped, and needed to be replaced. Dealership was aware of problem. The dealer replaced rear right and left side lower control arms and bushings to correct the alignment problem. The driver side mirror had failed and was installed by the dealer. (continental tire size p215/60r16).
