The brakes were utilized until the vehicle could be returned to the dealership. Upon inspection the throttle cable was frayed. It will be replaced at contact's expense. The manufacturer was contact, and they offered no assistance. Updated 01/11/05.
The stainless steel cables that ran down to the gas pedal broke. This was noticed after having the oil changed. After taking the vehicle to dealer, they stated that no defects were found. These cables were visible under the hood.
Accelerator pedal will vibrate and will cause consumer's foot to "fall asleep" while driving on highway. Dealership changed accelerator cable to correct defect, no change occurred and vibration continued. Please provide any additional information/attachments.
