Dash Wiring problems of the 2003 Ford Windstar

1 Dash Wiring problem

Failure Date: 06/09/2011

Abs and brake dashboard lights warning that abs system is inoperative, speed control system also inoperative. Break pressure deactivation switch leaking oil. This leaking oil has traveled down abs wiring harness all the way to the abs controller. Unsafe condition. Ford dealership has refused to repair this dangerous condition as a manufacturing/design defect and stated there currently is no recall issued for this very serious problem!!.

2 Dash Wiring problem

Failure Date: 08/01/2007

Interior lights flicker on and off, sometimes stay on. Sometimes it stops for a week, and sometimes it flickers nonstop!.

3 Dash Wiring problem

Failure Date: 08/12/2004

The instrument panel gauges started jumping all over and I could not determine my speed, gas amount or any other data from the instruments. This happened at 37,000 miles and I had to pay $500 to have a new instrument cluster panel installed.
