Paint Problems of Ford Windstar

I own 2000 Ford Windstar. The paint is flanking off the roof really bad it has some spots rusted and some is gray even in the back and front. I just replaced the hood from a junk yard. My speedometer keeps going crazy and when trying to get out of park the park and revers part broke because it got stuck with the rpm and that broke too. I have to keep the fuse unplugged that goes to the interior lighting do to battery dead by the next day.

There was no crash or injury, I was just wanting to know if there was a recall on the paint on a 2001 Windstar. I just bought one and did not realize the roof paint is peeling. I called the dealer and I guess I am screwed.

Paint blistering and coming off, 2001 Ford Windstar se, color is emerald. Has come off on the hood down to bare metal and also the panels under the doors.

I took the van to the car wash on sat. 14th of Feb. As I started to wash the van starting with the roof, the paint started flaking off above the driver's side door.

Bought the used vehicle from a used car dealer. Didn't check for paint peeling or rust, thought a 2 year old car wouldn't have any. I washed the car, and as I waxed it, discovered the peeling paint on the roof rib, almost entire lenghth of vehicle, then found rust at the bottom of the front passenger door and rear passenger sliding door. Contacted Ford, instructed me to go to local dealership, went to gervais Ford in ayer MA. Service manager looked over the car, made notes, informed me he would contact Ford headquarters to see if they will do anything. Two weeks later, he contacted me and informed me there was nothing they could do regarding the paint or the doors rusting from the inside out.

The paint is literally peeling off of my silver 1998 Ford Windstar. The paint on the roof is practically gone and now the top of the doors are starting to peel and rust. I was told by Ford that they will not help me. All estimates I have for repainting state that this is a manufacturer defect.

Paint peeling on the vehicle. Started at roof and now is peeling all over. Also the front suspension makes a banging noise when traveling on bumpy roads. Have tried to have fix but 2 or less months it starts again.

Consumer states that paint is peeling off. Consumer feels the interior may eventually fall and paint chips may get into passengers eyes.
