Tank Filler Pipe And Cap Problems of Ford Windstar

Engine light came on, unable to pump gas, gas blow back when attempting to fill, takes several minutes and attempts to fill tank. Have taken it to several shops unable to find problem, engine light claims to be bleeding problem, have dropped tank, changed fill valve, fuel filter, fuel pump, 3 fuel caps and still have issue.

Fuel filler vent is clogged, resulting in fuel overflowing when filling with gasoline. It can take up to 30 minutes to fill the tank.

While filling the gas tank fire started to come up from the opening, around the gas nozzle. Dealer has not seen vehicle.

The vehicle is experiencing problems with the fuel filler neck/pipe, the fuel pump nozzel kicks out at about half full, causing difficulty filling remaining gas, service dept inspected the fuel filler and stated that the installation is normal.
