One problem related to fuel hoses lines/piping and fittings has been reported for the 1999 GEO Metro. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The fuel hose that connects to the fuel tank was not properly sealed, causing a fuel leak, and may have caused a fire if there was a source of ignition. Please provide further information and VIN#.
