One problem related to tank assembly has been reported for the 1999 GEO Metro. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
When starting vehicle there is strong fuel smell which causes occupants to feel sick. The smell comes through the vents. Gm said it is normal all 98,99 and 2000's have this problem.
