My headlights keep flickering immerdiently, it doesn't matter if they are on auto or manually. I called the dealership I purchased it from and they said there is nothing they can do until they receive a resolution from GMC. This poses a safety hazard at night. Not only that, people keep thinking I am flashing my lights at them.

The contact owns a 2024 GMC Canyon. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the front headlights were activated; however, the front headlights failed to operate as intended. The contact stated that the front headlights continuously flickered from high to low. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the failure was visible and documented. The contact was informed that there was no remedy for the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 225.

When I make a right turn, after completing it, my left turn signal flashes three times. This is very confusing to other drivers around me and I’m concerned could cause an accident. This has been occurring since I purchased the vehicle. The dealership advised that the headlight flicker repair would likely fix it, but it did not.

Headlamps flickering. At first the automatic high beams were causing an issue so I turned that off then it was the headlamps while running normal continue to flicker while driving.

The headlights flicker on and off frequently (every minute to two minutes). This put my safety at risk for not being able to see the road clear and causing a acident. It puts other drivers safety at risk because they get flashing lights pointed at their windshield and can cause and accident. It is also a safety risk because other drivers assume the flickering is being done by me the driver on purpose and I am concerned it will start road rage or another driver to escalate thinking I am road raging at them. Dealer is aware of the problem. No warning lamps. Started with 40 miles on the truck.
The headlight assemblies randomly flicker, and occurs while driving and while parked. It includes the hid headlights and the led daytime running lights. The dealer has confirmed that the issue exists with this model vehicle; however, there is currently no fix.
The vehicle, since it's purchase, has a persistant flickering occuring with the entire headlight when the main headlights are on. The problem doesn't seem to be an issue when the drls are only being used. The vehicle was taken back to the dealership to be looked at but when they discussed the issue with the gm even they couldn't figure it out. This can pose a serious safety issue if the lights go out all together at night on a dark roadway.

This truck was purchased brand new on 6/21/24. Noticed lights are intermittently flickering (every 2-4 minutes) when driving at night on 8/17/24. We took vehicle in to dealership (jessup automotive) on 8/23/24 where is was purchased and work order stated, "engineering is aware of this concern and is working towards a resolution. It is no longer recommended to replace the headlamp assemblies as it has been found that the issue is present in the replacements currently stocked at cca. This pi will be updated when this direction changes. " other vehicles think you are blinking your lights at them. We took a video. Also, there are other vehicles of people having same issue on coloradofans. Com. The vehicle has been inspected by dealership. We are taking to another GMC to get second opinion. No warning lamps, messages or other symptoms before the failure. Owners on the website mentioned that changing the headlight assembly worked. They stated change module or headlights did not work. This problem has been going on at least since since may 2024. We have paid $40,000 for a truck that we are worried about driving at night. Waiting for call back from GMC now who we called on August 23, 2024 in which they stated they would call back within two business day. I have video, however it won't attach.

Headlights flicker every couple of minutes. Very concerning driving at night. Incoming traffic thinks I’m flashing them. Not good these days. Contacted dealer. They are aware there is a problem. They stated that gm has not come up with a fix yet. To me that answer is unacceptable.
Headlights flicker all the time regardless of speed radar cruise control will slam on the brakes for no reason even when there's nothing in front of me. (seems to happen more at night) blindspot monitoring will randomly turn on for no reason.
Been experiencing an intermittent issue. After completing an indicated right hand turn, the vehicle will signal a left turn for 3 blinks. This is a safety issue because the vehicle is signaling a left turn when no turn is intended.

Headlights flicker independently randomly. Does not matter what position headlights are in (auto, on, highbeam). Gm looked and confirmed issue but said to not replace any modules or other parts until they can redesign the headlights. Happening on all 2024 GMC Canyons. Issue during daytime driving could lead to road rage. Issue at night is worse obviously because it is very distracting to oncoming and other drivers. Police could think you are trying to warn other drivers of their presence which would lead to a citation but mostly the distraction and irritation to other drivers is going to lead to an accident or worse. GMC needs to recall these Canyons and get a fix immediately.
The vehicle headlights flicker off and on intermittently, sometimes within a few seconds of each occurrence, other times several minutes between flickering off and on. The flickering is distracting to the driver of the vehicle and to other drivers as well as oncoming drivers flash lights back. The dealership has been notified and they are aware of other complaints on 2024 GMC Canyon vehicles. This is a known issue among other owners and apparently gm as the issue has been voiced on social media sites related to the Canyon and on Canyon related group forums.
Headlights flicker once every couple of minutes or so. This could very well indicate me flashing someone to turn or go in front of me. I have seen multiple internet threads of this same issue happening to 2024 GMC Canyon owners. The car has 500 miles on it and I've noticed it since I've had the vehicle. No warning signs or anything. My 2024 GMC Canyon at4x picked up on Saturday 8/10/24. First time driving it at night I kept noticing a flickering of the headlights. I confirmed after reading multiple complaints online about the headlight blinking on many GMC forums. I have a video of it and have shown it to the dealership service department. They are ordering a lighting control module for the headlamp assembly. Very concerning that a headlight malfunction with less that 20 miles on the vehicle. And very noticeable at night almost looking like you are flashing your headlight at drivers in front of you.
Headlights intermittently flicker when on sitting still or driving. This happens from a couple of times a minute, up to 5 or 8 times a minute. Other drivers are flashing their high beams at me because of this flaw. I can see a road rage incident occurring because of the issue.

The issue involves the headlight assemblies flickering frequently. The whole headlight assembly will randomly turn off and on, one at a time typically. It will cause temporary loss of sight down road at night. I have also noticed other motorists flash their brights at me thinking that's what the flicker was, so it's causing disruptions to other drivers as well. Gm is aware of the issue but has no fix in place and no timeframe for the fix.

The headlight assemblies has a random blinking, flashing, flicker, on/off problem. This causes people to think I am either flashing them or blinking my light at them. Major safety concern!! gm is aware of this issue and does not have a fix. I requested a different vehicle to drive until they fix this safety issue and was denied.

As I've heard many others report, my Canyon has the headlight flicker problem that seems to be plaguing these vehicles. Driving during the night, the headlights will periodically go out every couple of minutes. It is very brief (less that 0. 5 second) but very distracting and cannot be safe for other vehicles on the road.
