Two problems related to accelerator pedal have been reported for the 2002 GMC Envoy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
2002 GMC Envoy -driver was sitting at traffic signal with left turn signal on . When light turned green driver proceeded through intersection to make turn when accelerator throttle. Driver could not stop or control vehicle causing it to hit concrete bridge pillar head on.
Loss of engine power preventing passing on highway was caused by failure of the gas pedal (#15150990), which had to be replaced (parts and labor: $211).
