One problem related to hatchback/liftgate lock has been reported for the 2002 GMC Envoy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
: the contact stated the rear hatch window opened on its own intermittently. The dealership was unable to determine the problem. Also, the rear passenger door would not operate intermittently from the outside. The dealership adjusted the striker and cleaned the door jam, but the problem persisted.
