One problem related to seat broken has been reported for the 2002 GMC Envoy. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The driver seat dropped (fallen to the right) the weld on the rod to the bracket which holds up the seat is broken. . . There was only one weld that I can see on the right side. On the other side of the seat there is three welds on that rod and bracket on the left side of the seat. . . . There is white painted dots over the welds ? this is all under the seat.
