Vehicle will restart, drive 1-2 miles same problem. Gas gauge 1/3 full. No trouble codes. 3 occurrences in week. Vehicle is now parked in garage. Odometer less than 56000 miles. 2 Engine problem

Failure Date: 11/22/2007

The contact owns a 2003 GMC Envoy. While driving 65 mph, the oil warning indicator light illuminated and the vehicle came to a complete stop. The vehicle was steered to the side of the road and towed. The dealer stated that the engine locked and needed to be replaced due to an oil drain plug that loosened. The current and failure mileages were 55,000.

3 Engine problem

Failure Date: 06/03/2003

One week ago I purchased a 2003 Envoy sle 4wd, it has 200 miles on it currently and noticed upon delivery that a molding around the drivers side door is crooked. And 2 days ago I noticed a large puddle of fresh oil under my vehicle, and my oil light went on this morning. I haven't even had this vehicle for one week and I have to take it in for repairs. This does not make me feel overly comfortable about my purchase.

4 Engine problem

While stopped the engine ran at 900 rpm's. After the brake was released the rpm's climbed to 1100 and the vehicle accelerated suddenly. The dealer replaced the fuel emissions canister once, and reset the electrical codes, and replaced the fuel tank, but the problem recurred.
